Nature Journal Club - May 25 @ 3PM

from $10.00

Nature journaling is a great way to connect with nature, engage in conscious curiosity, grow our observation skills and pattern recognition while also practicing mindfulness. Conscious curiosity stimulates the reward centers of our brains. In turn triggering the release of dopamine and activates the hippocampus region of our brains which is where new memories are formed. 🧠

Together we will take a hike & be inspired by the beautiful nature Ohio has to offer! Our short hike will take us through a beautiful nature preserve. During that time we will take photos of the plants we find interesting/want to draw. Then we will all come back to our meeting location and start to sketch and journal together while hang.

All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to join! Our time together will be a safe space where we can learn and grow together!

I will bring all my nature identification books, so we can ID plants together!

Please bring the following items:

  1. Sketchbook or paper

  2. Your desired art supplies (there will be some to share)

  3. A blanket or chair to sit on

*Please note this is not a foraging class, we will not be picking or eating anything we find in the woods*
